The Big Ukulele Jam

Join us on Sunday 16th August for what we hope will be the biggest gathering of ukulele players Belfast has ever seen! Set against the backdrop of Belfast's iconic Big Fish sculpture, this fun and friendly event is completely FREE and open to everyone as part of Belfast City Council & Bank Of Ideas.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned strummer, we'd love you to be part of it. At 1pm, we'll be holding an Absolute Beginners Class, where anyone can come along and learn a few simple chords and songs. Never played before? No problem โ€“ this is the perfect place to start!

Then at 2pm, it's time for The Big Ukulele Jam! Hundreds of ukulele players, singers and music lovers will come together for a giant singalong in one of Belfast's most recognisable locations. Bring your uke, bring your friends and help us make a little bit of musical history. Everyone is welcome โ€“ because at Belfast Ukulele Festival, it's all about UKE!
